The service has three locality located community teams, a central team and a hearing and ear health team.We are committed to delivering wh?nau centred care that focuses on the health and wellbeing of children and their wh?nau. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a great team who are highly collaborative and solutions-focused in a newly established function. You will focus on developing the cultural and clinical safety of the service in order to improve patient practice and health results for M?ori. You will provide cultural leadership abilities to create an environment where cultural and clinical excellence can flourish. About you | He k?rero m?u We are seeking for someone who has a passion for empowering others and making things happen. You'll work as part of the M?ori Health and Community leadership abilities teams, reporting to the Director - Medical and Community services. We are seeking for Somebody with: • Senior leadership abilities practice (5+ years) in the health or community sectors • M?ori and significant social or health tertiary qualifications • Strategic leadership abilities and change management practice in complex health or community settings • practice developing and implementing governance and service delivery models to support M?ori health equity.
