Technical Product Owner »Please note this can be located in Wellington or Auckland Over the last five years in the Improvement, Systems and Technology group we have been evolving our delivery approach to be agile at scale. We have a number of opportunities for talented Technical Product Owners to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of New Zealand's largest Information technology groups and be the motivational force that empowers our teams to meet delivery goals and increase product capabilities and services to our clients. Joining one our newly formed product groups you'll appreciate a wide variety of work in a fast-paced environment leading up to four Agile standing teams that are focused on delivering technical results. We are seeking for individuals with specific domain expertise and practice within middleware technologies or security identity. You will: » Work collaboratively with the Technical Product Manager for your product group contributing to product strategy & roadmaps, and Epic business cases. » Create the work plan (story backlog) for teams in collaboration with team members, customers, and stakeholders. » Participate in product level ceremonies (e.g. everyday Stand-up) and PI Planning. » Develop Asset Management Plans. » Define acceptance criteria for product stories & confirm they're complete. » Foster an environment of trust, empowerment, collaboration, and a positive culture. You will bring: » Proven technical skills within Middleware and Security domains. » Proven practice as a prosperous product owner, scrum master or a similar leadership abilities function in a technology environment. » Strong technical expertise and the capability to translate complex technology into relatable language. » Demonstrated excellence in prioritisation and decision making. » Excellent communication skills and the capability to interact effectively at all levels.
