P?niu River Care Inc. (PRC) is an Incorporated Society and NZ registered charity. We are a marae located charity, who aim to enable local hap? to be involved in improving the water quality and replenishing taonga within the P?niu River Catchment.
 
We are seeking for two practiced board members with a passion for restoring the health and wellbeing of our awa and our people. The board is responsible for providing advice on strategic direction and governance and provide support and guidance to our Pou T?huhu (CEO) and the Senior leadership abilities Team.
We are seeking for Somebody with the following practice and expertiseet:
   » Governance practice essential
   » Resource Management Act / Te Mana o te Wai
   » Human Resources
   » expertise of the Agriculture / Horticulture industry
   » Business Development
Commitment required:
Meetings of the board are monthly. In addition to this, there will be a requirement to assist with various committees and attendance of marae and community events.
