Communications are key in this position, with business partnering across the organisation an intregral part of the function. The function also has one direct report into it, so someone who thrives on people management and development will suit the position. CA/ CPA qualified accountants are preferable. tasks of this function: » Prepare and process monthly accounts, forecasts and budgets in a timely manner and within Group timetable » Review Accounts and ensure Accuracy » Prepare analysis of accounts and report to the line management on variance highlights. Noting variances to plan and opportunities for profit reinforcement » Advise on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions » Prepare and reconcile monthly work papers » Review and report to senior and Line management on SAP projects (Contracts) profitcapability » Preparation of accurate monthly accounts for OCS business including projects, and others » Analyse the region’s financial performance and make longer term forecasts and budgets » Calculate KPI and advise managers on how the region is tracking » Work with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions » Ensure Managers are compliant with SOPs » Ensure all company taxes, BAS statements, PAYG, FBT, etc. are paid and filed on time and accurately » Review Weekly Labour/Contract profitcapability and report to branch » Work closely with AP/AR team to ensure there is no surprise impact on the P/L manager on variances and highlights » Mentor the team to develop skills, grow competency levels and develop high performers » Assign and supervise work performed by direct reports » Facilitate and supervise full training for direct reports in our processes, procedures and systems » Work with Senior managers in the region as part of the team to achieve the budget, recommending ways of cutting costs, and overall company and regional goals If you are an practiced Management Accountant who is seeking a new challenge, Apply ASAP for a further discussion!
