Company With around 60 employees, this popular bakery runs a busy retail store, an even busier wholesale manufacturing operation and provides catering. Their core products are pies and sandwiches, with a menu of over 70 products, volumes are high. Many of the team have worked for this business for several years and due to business growth and professional development we’re looking for this Bakery manager. It’s a position that also has opportunity, the Owner really cares about his team. People are his top priority and their development is important. I can honestly say the culture of this team was so impressive, no wonder they’ve won so many awards and accolades. The function You will lead the bakery team running day to day operations with a team that starts at entry level up to senior Bakers. This environment can be hot and stressful, with your leadership abilities, the team will work collaboratively and the output of the factory will be efficient. As an practiced Baker the technical side of the job should be a give in. One of the main requirements is someone who can lead the team, with a genuine focus on people and development. The core hours are Sun-Thur 11am – 7pm give or take depending on production levels. Your weekend is Fri and Sat. expertise & practice » You need to have 3-4 years baking practice and be a qualified Baker » Have proven practiced leading a team » Be an excellent communicator with a firm fair leadership abilities style » Be a team player, who is fun, hardworking and flexible What’s in Information technology for you?
