Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
A priority of the government is to close gender and ethnic pay gaps and achieve pay equity in the wider public service. To deliver this, a dedicated group has been established within Te Kawa Mataaho responsible for covering Gender, M?ori, Pacific and Ethnic pay gaps. With new Government funding, this group is growing. In this function you will provide thought leadership abilities and skills in the area of M?ori, Pacific and Ethnic pay and will design and deliver key projects and initiatives to support the prosperous implementation of the Public Service Pay Gaps Action Plan. To be prosperous you will have the expertise and practice to provide technically sound and practical advice on the drivers of M?ori, Pacific and Ethnic pay issues to system leaders, Ministers and agencies. You will undertake analysis and develop policy options to support the prosperous delivery of the work programme. You will also have the capability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders within Te Kawa Mataaho and with external parties, including government agency and union representatives, and representatives of external interest and working groups.

This position usually pays between $121,380 to $149,940 depending on skills and practice.
