We are seeking for two engaging and upbeat people with practice in public engagement and a love of arts, culture and heritage. One position is 32 hours a week and the other is 18 hours a week. Both positions include one weekend day. OurPublic Engagement Co-ordinatorswill be the face of He Waka Tuia. As the first point of contact, they will provide friendly and valuable information about the space and its exhibitions, while ensuring that all visitors receive a consistently high standard of care. The prosperous candidates will play a key function in the team by providing social media/website and administrative support for exhibitions and public programming. As the eyes and ears of the space, they will be expected to keep the space clean, tidy and inviting to visitors, while providing a security presence. OurPublic Engagement Co-ordinatorswill be comfortable with interacting and knowledge the needs of visitors from many different backgrounds. Knowledge of Te Reo M?ori and tikanga would be an advantage. Excellent computer literacy expertise and an eye for detail are a must and as well as being available to work set days each week.
