M? te t?ranga mahi | About the function We are seeking for an practiced Kait?tari Kaupapa Here Matua, Senior Policy Analyst inour Adaptation R?p?, to connect across our work programme to incorporate M?tauranga and Tikanga M?ori in our everyday mahi. Our adaptation teams are responsible for leading critical system changes such as the Climate Change Adaptation Bill. We also embed adaptation into practice through stewardship of the system and development of key tools and guidance to support implementation.This work involves close collaboration with our M?ori Climate Action R?p? who hold the relationships between our iwi M?ori partners. It will be your function to lead the integration of tangata whenua views and values to our adaptation work. You will get to work on key projects such as: » Embedding iwi rights and interests into the Climate Change Adaptation Bill » Planning how to apply indigenous frameworks to the next National Adaptation Plan » Developing guidance on adaptation incorporating M?tauranga principles » M?ori climate strategies and risk assessment Nau mai haere mai, become a part of this important journey with us. ?He rau ringa e oti ai.?
