We are seeking for a couple who have practice in housekeeping, hospitality and gardening. Do you enjoy living in a remote location, surrounded by lakes, mountains, ski fields, world class mountain biking, bouldering, fly fishing and hiking? Then this might be a great opportunity for you. We offer beautiful accommodation, good remuneration and a fun team to work with. FLOCKHILL Lodge is undergoing mayor development in becoming a luxury lodge. As we transition, lots of work needs to be done onsite. From keeping the facilities clean and tidy, outside jobs like gardening and maintenance, to assisting in FoH when needed. The lodge sits between Arthurs’s Pass (30 min drive) and Christchurch (1.5 hr drive) and Castle Hill Village (20 min drive). Responsibilities » Perform a variety of housekeeping activities such as keeping accommodation, building site and other facilities clean » All hands on deck mentality » Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies » Notify mangers on any damages, deficits and disturbances » Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience » Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate, i.e. linen, laundry, cleaning supplies, waste management Requirements and expertise » Proven practice as a Cleaner or Housekeeper » practice with outdoor physical work and hospitality would be great » Enjoy living in a remote location, with all the outdoor activities at your doorstep » capability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance » Customer-oriented and friendly » Prioritization and time management expertise » expertise of English language » Legal rights to work in New Zealand Contact Please get in touch with FLOCKHILL for further questions, or send through your CV and a cover letter.
