IT Evaluation & Purchasing Specialist
The Opportunity
A unique and exciting opportunity exists to join the Information technology Asset Specialists team on a permanent basis, as an Information technology Evaluation & Purchasing Specialist. If you are an energetic, detail-focussed, analytical thinker with the capability to adapt to an ever-changing environment, then this function is for you! The team provides desktop Software support to over 10,000 MSD staff, spread across all of New Zealand.

As an Information technology Evaluation & Purchasing Specialist, you will focus on
   » Workflow management for all Remedy and Online Software requests, for Request Fulfilment
   » The procurement and delivery of software from suppliers and its migration through testing, to deployment to the desktop.
   » Providing effective utilisation reporting, forecasting and planning to optimize software assets.
   » Supporting innovation and continuous improvement in software and compliance practices.
   » Being an effective communicator, with a strong commitment to processes/standards, with a sound knowledge of the Software Asset Management Life cycle
What you will bring to the function
   » A minimum of 2-3years of practice, in management of desktop software, or a similar function
   » Sound knowledge of Microsoft License Management
   » Good knowledge of Remedy and SNOW
   » Good knowledge of enterprise SAM (Software Asset Management) procedures and methodologies
   » practice working in a ?agile-waterfall hybrid environment'
   » Sound organisational expertise and the capability to balance multiple demands
   » A significant tertiary qualification

income range: $95,822.00 – $117,116.00
