This company has operated in the Bay for more than 25 years, with its predominant business being caravan awnings, over-roofs, and shade products, but they also make a wide variety of other items using canvas, clears or PVC. Plus they also do repairs. In recent years, caravanning, camping and boating has become much more popular as more families opt for local holidays as opposed to travelling overseas. As a result of this, the business has flourished and there is a high demand for their products and services. About the function: To meet this increase in demand, they need a skilled Canvas Fabricator to help meet this customer demand. Whilst not a simple task, the job requirements are the capability to read a diagram of requirements, stitch and sew the items as specified, and be involved in the installation, other than of course if the customer wishes to erect or install the product themselves. Qualifications and practice Whilst a canvas fabrication qualification would be preferred, more important is canvas fabrication practice. Information technology may well be you have been involved in areas that involve some fabrication outside just canvas, so don't let that deter you from applying and considering the function. Information technology may well also be that you have limited or prior practice. If you are the right fit, then this company will invest in you to come up to speed quickly.
