The best candidate will be enthusiastic and a great communicator, with strong professional social media marketing expertise and a lovefor documentary filmmaking. They will have a background in social media strategy, social media marketing or filmmaking and have the capability to write captivating promotional text. About us: Notable Pictures is an award-winningproduction company renowned for bold and innovative documentary storytelling.As well as leading the unique initiative Loading Docs - responsible for the creation of short documentaries that have collectively achieved over 17 million views - Notable Pictures credits include Waiata / Anthems, Anthems: Iconic Hits, Wilbur: The King in the Ring, Drug Court, Both Worlds,Arranged, The Chills: The Triumph and Tragedy of Martin Phillippsand SIX60: Till the Lights Go Out. Hours are part-time on a temporary contract basis January through to November. The Loading Docs social media co-ordinator reports to the Loading Docs producer and executive producer. For the right applicant, there is also an option to take on social media marketing for additional Notable Pictures projects. Notable Pictures operates according to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and value diverse practices and voices. Responsibilities include: » Contribute to the delivery of a prosperous programme of work for Loading Docs 2022 through social media marketing co-ordination of the short documentary initiative. » Devise a social media marketing strategy for Loading Docs 2022, reporting to Loading Docs producer and executive producer. » Create, schedule and maintain content for all Loading Docs social media platforms all over the Loading Docs year, in particular during submission, crowdfunding and distribution stages. » Ensure the growth of the Loading Docs audience on social platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. » Monitor all Loading Docs social platforms, reply to all online communication, and monitor comments as required. » Set up and grow a Loading Docs TikTok platform. » Assist Loading Docs producer to develop a social media distribution strategy for Loading Docs 2022 - across platforms. » Data insights and reporting. » Work with Loading Docs producer to set targets for channel growth and engagement. Attributes: At least two years' social media strategy practice. practice in filmmaking an advantage. A passion for and expertise of documentary. Able to confidently apply the Loading Docs vision across our social channels. Can identify social trends, up to date with cultural conversations and an avid consumer of current events. capability to work with Loading Docs producer to take the social strategy to the next level. Working expertise of all social media apps including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and confidence using Photoshop.
