   » Full-time, fixed-term/secondment opportunity (until December 2022) at $117,000 income plus five weeks’ annual leave (pro rata)

Ko t? m?tou mahi – Our function
As Senior Advisor, you will support the Regional Manager Te Kurutao to develop and foster key M?ori partner relationships within Te Tauihu region, including providing cultural support and guidance to the regional team and management of M?ori engagement.
In addition, you’ll support multiple project deliverables, including the implementation of M?ori build partner opportunities and regional papak?inga initiatives, and implement policy and strategy frameworks developed through Te Kurutao Centre of Excellence for M?ori results.
this function offers the unique opportunity to work closely with Te Kotahi o Te Tauihu Charitable Trust to ensure K?inga Ora are supporting and meeting the objectives of the Trust.
Ng? p?manawatanga ?u – What you will bring:
   » You’ll have a background of working with M?ori organisations, and an enthusiasm for empowering and enhancing M?ori capacity and capcapability to deliver on identified projects
   » You’ll have a sound knowledge and knowledge of contemporary dynamics of M?ori housing, with practice working with M?ori in housing or similar settings
   » You’ll be competent in tikanga M?ori, and confident operating in a wide variety of M?ori environments. Ideally you will have a good grounding in Te Reo M?ori
   » You will be adept at growing the organisation’s cultural competence to deliver impactful results in partnership with M?ori
   » Naturally, you’ll have an inherent knowledge of the implications of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and its respective interpretations by iwi/hap?.
