Job Offer: Blueberry Pruners:Job description:Blueberry PrunersPayment: Paid Position ($21.20 + holiday tax)Job location: Otautau Region: Southland/Fiordland practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 13/06/2022 Welcome to Blueberry Country Southland! We are seeking for 2 Blueberry Pruners to start pruning on Monday 20 June. This will be for about 4 weeks. Working hours are from Monday to Friday from 9 to 5pm, but work is weather permitted. We do not work in heavy rain. Southland at this time of the year can be cold and wet, so bring your thermals and gumboots. We do provide rain coats, rain trousers and gloves. We don't have beds, so you do need to bring a van to sleep in. Our orchard is located in the lower South Island about 45km from Invercargill. The closest town Otautau is about 7km away and has a great supermarket, library, 2 pubs, cafe, and takeway shops. The beach is nearby, as are tramping and caving options. We also are very near Te Anau and Milford Sound and only 2 hours from Queenstown with its ski fields. We look forward to meeting you! Skills:
