The company has been operating for over 40years in Auckland and has become well-respected across New Zealand for their delivery of high-quality products. Located in Penrose, the company mainly supplies large plastic water tanks to various residential and commercial customers throughout New Zealand, and they are looking for driven individuals to support their team as they continue to grow throughout 2022. In this role, you will be required to manage, schedule, and plan all aspects of production. You will also be managing a small team in the factory. Although this role will not require you to consistently operate the machinery, you may have to occasionally assist with the day-to-day manufacturing responsibilities. Your main responsibilities will include » Scheduling and planning production » Stock take and ordering all materials » Managing staff on the factory floor » Occasionally assisting with operating machines and manufacturing responsibilities » Ensuring a healthy and safe working environment Although plastic rotational moulding is not essential, experience in manufacturing in a mechanical setting is essential. You will need to have had experience in management and manufacturing in order to be successful in this role. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys pushing the boundaries and wants a multifaceted role where you can effectively manage as well as be involved in the day-to-day hands-on operations.
