This group's purpose is to enable people and partners with improved services and effective technology so New Zealanders can easily access the support they need. IST is part of our Transformation directorate, and we are made up of service improvement and technology experts. The Opportunity The function will support the Group General Manager IST and members of their leadership abilities Team. Responsibilities of the function will include » Providing secretarial support including diary management, co-ordination of meetings, production of agendas, collation of papers and recording accurate and succinct minutes. » Assist in the planning and delivery of events and forums to ensure they run smoothly, and objectives are achieved. » Manage travel, accommodation and logistics on behalf of the Group General Manager » Draft correspondence, prepare high quality presentations, reports, memos and briefing materials on behalf of the Group General Manager IST. » Supporting project work. » Proactively identify and prioritise all matters that require urgent action and gather and present significant information for the Group General Manager IST to evaluate and respond appropriately. » Providing administrative support to the leadership abilities team wider team as required. » Preparation of documentation and dealing with high level, urgent and confidential issues About You As an Executive adjunct, you will bring with you: » Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated capability to empathise. » A proactive approach and ?can-do' attitude » A high level of proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. » Excellent oral and written communication skills and the capability to adapt to multiple situations at hand, at any one time. » Demonstrated senior practice working at an executive level. » A background in supporting senior leaders within or alongside the public sector, however not a must.
