About the function Workforce Development Partner – Equity and Diversity (Kaim?tai – Mana Taurite me Kanorau) is responsible for the implementation of the Canterbury and West Coast DHB’s equity and diversity programmes and events to grow and celebrate diversity and create an environment where all our t?nagta feel safe and feel like they belong at work. In this function you will: » leading the calendar of events for our people which honour and celebrate key diversity and inclusion activities and milestones » implement workforce development projects to create a more equitable workforce » develop and implement the programmes of work that support attraction/hiring, onboarding, development and support of our staff » identify potential risks and biases in the recruitment and talent management policies, frameworks, and tools » identify opportunities to grow and embed cultural consciousness, responsiveness, and safety of all staff » drive continuous improvement and advice to implement change initiatives within our workforce. To be prosperous in this function you will have: » practice growing a more diverse and inclusive workforce where people are encouraged to bring their whole self to work » practice in workforce development and equity and/or diversity, inclusion, and belonging related functions » demonstrated knowledge of how to bring about people change through redesign of people systems and processes.
