About our group and team
An excellent opportunity exists for an energetic and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Advisor located in the Wellington CBD.
this function is part of the Financial Payments and Collections team who is responsible in ensuring the accurate and timely payment and collection of all Ministry transactions.
About this function
This is no ordinary Accounts Payable function. The volumes are high and processes are complex and exciting. There are a number of new innovative initiatives presently being undertaken.
The Accounts Payable Advisor function is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing transactions for payment in line with agreed processes to ensure internal and external levels are met or exceeded. The function also provides professional support and issue resolution to internal customers and suppliers.
About you
We’re looking for Somebody with the following:
   » At least three to five years practice in an Accounts Payable function in a large organisation
   » practice in Tier one ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Technology One)
   » Excellent Excel expertise
   » The capability to understand and apply the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
   » capability to work independently, quickly and accurately, with strong attention to details
   » A proactive, customer focused approach
   » capability to work to tight deadlines
   » Be self-motivated, responsible, agile and a good team player
