If providing an excellent level of support to Ministers and their office teams excites you, then read on! Ministerial Services is seeking two practiced administrators to provide support services to members of the Executive for the duration of the 53rd Parliament. You will be a dedicated and committed team player, exceptionally well organised with effective planning and co-ordination expertise. A keen eye for detail is a must, as is the capability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to competing and changing priorities. You will bring with you excellent administration expertise, have practice in diary and travel management as well as the capability to deal with and facilitate correspondence. An knowledge of existing government, parliamentary and public service protocols and processes, Official Information Act requests and parliamentary questions would be advantageous. To be prosperous in this function you will have the demonstrated capability to work well as a team player and collaboratively across teams. You will thrive under pressure and can juggle competing priorities and responsibilities at short notice. A flexible approach to work is valued, along with excellent communication expertise. Previous practice in these functions, or on the Parliamentary Complex is highly desirable. candidates must be permanent residents or NZ Citizens and are required to obtain and maintain a national security clearance (at a minimum level of ‘Confidential’).
