You will be supported by a great team of experienced staff who are focused on a common goal. You will be able to bring your own ideas and experience to the role too. You need to have a clear and precise understanding of engineering standards, have good knowledge of mechanical and technical maintenance. The following key accountability areas are: Key results area's: » Ensure all plant and equipment proactive and reactive maintenance is responded to and completed in a timely manner » Investigate engineering-related production issues, participate in developing/improving maintenance systems » Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to achieve optimum output and minimal downtime » Participate and/or lead problem-solving/fault diagnosis exercises » Ensure all compliance, change management, and regulatory policies are met » Be part of the group's continuous improvement program » Review plant and equipment performance, provide reports as required » Embrace Health and Safety. Adhere to all policies and proactively support & drive initiatives » Ensure Quality/HACCP standards are consistently met with full regulatory and client company compliance and minimal wastage You would need the following attributes for this position: » Multi-tasking ability » Problem solver and forward thinker » Have the ability to build strong relationships and be customer focused » Strong organisational skills with a can-do attitude » Ability to lead a team » Have an eye for detail » Strong communicator You would be required to do the following tasks to a high standard: » Inspections and audits of overall inventory management » Compliance inspections maintenance of buildings and associate infrastructure » Health and safety inspections » Project regulations and business processes and procedures including Health and safety in the workplace » Optimise Utilities plant and equipment runs to specification for overall optimum performance » Communicate Producing comprehensive monthly reports and responses to email correspondence and calls » Promote a healthy Corporate Culture Leadership Model and Health and Safety Systems This is a long-term position with good prospects for the right people.
