Regional Labour Market Manager - Waikato
Full Time, Permanent function
Reporting to the Regional Commissioner – Waikato, the Regional Labour Market Manager is responsible for identifying proactive labour market strategies to meet the workforce requirements of local industry. This is a fast paced function that involves working with an energetic team, a wide variety of employers, industry sectors, business associations and government agencies.
You will be a natural influencer with a nose for opportunity, and use data and information to inform your approach and success. Your capability to gather and analyse labour market intelligence will help you shape strategies, plans and agreements, and evaluate the impact of initiatives. this function has a strong link to delivery teams in regard to account management activities, and will also have responsibility for the implementation of national employment initiatives and campaigns, and regular labour market reporting.
Requirements
   » A solid track record of success in recruitment or business development.
   » Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement expertise.
   » Sound business acumen, with the capability to hunt out and secure new opportunities.
   » Full clean driver's licence.
   » Qualification in business or other significant qualification is highly desirable.
