Technical Product Owner – Data Integration and Caching The primary purpose of the TPOData Integration is to help lead our data integration team. The function will help transform how data integration is managed within MSD. Information technology will help support the decision-making drives positive business results. You will have a strong interest and practice in: » Master data management: Master data management (MDM) is the process of ensuring the organisation is constantly working with and making decisions located on a single version of current, ?true? information. Ingesting data from all of your sources and presenting Information technology as one constant, reliable source, as well as repropagating data into different systems, requires the right tools. » Data stewardship: A data steward does not develop information management policies but deploys and enforces them across the enterprise. As the name implies, a data steward watches over enterprise data collection and movement procedures, ensuring practices are implemented, and rules are enforced. » Data quality management: If a data steward is a kind of digital sheriff, a data quality manager might be thought of as his court clerk. Quality management is responsible for combing collected data for underlying problems like duplicate records, inconsistent versions, and more. Data quality managers support the defined data management system. » Data security: One of the most important aspects of data management today is security. Though emergent practices like DevSecOps incorporate security considerations at every level of application development and data exchange, security specialists are still tasked with encryption management, preventing unauthorised access, guarding against accidental movement or deletion, and other frontline concerns. » Data governance: Data governance sets the law for an enterprise's state of information. A data governance framework is like a constitution that clearly outlines policies for the intake, flow, and protection of institutional expertise. Data governors supervise their network of stewards, quality management professionals, security teams, and other people and data management processes to pursue a governance policy that serves a master data management approach. » You will have practice Leading, growing and developing a team of data integration analysts and developers. » Acting as a thought leader for new strategic initiatives shaped by emerging technology. » Hands-on technical expertise and development will still be required in the function. » The capability to interpret large data sets and data mining using innovative methods. » Engage and influence senior stakeholders. » Dive deep in analysing data patterns. » Implement data transformation, storage and messaging techniques. The prosperous applicant will have: » Proven practice in leading a team is essential. » capability and availability to be hands-on in the delivery of highly technical application and data integration projects. » broad practice in the application of application and data integration transformations and controls. » Solid expertise in SQL and No-SQL. » Advanced Data Modelling in a business context. » Technical practice in programming in Python, R and statistical packages (R, SAS). » Technical practice in one or more visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI. » Qualifications in significant disciplines (Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Analytics).
