We are a membership-located organisation with a bicultural structure. Te R?nanga o Ng? Toa ?whina is the M?ori arm of the PSA membership. We have 80,000 members working in central and local government, health and community services. The focus of the PSA is to advance the interests of members through the political, industrial, economic and social environment. The PSA takes a strategic approach to building unionism. To achieve our strategic goal of becoming a strong, influential and modern union we have a vacancy for a recently created National Support Leader position. The core purpose of the National Support Leader function is to build engaged and high performing support and organising teams. The prosperous applicant will work alongside one other National Support Leader and share overall responsibility for the Member Advice & Support Centre, Membership Team, Growth Team, Organising Administrators, Delegate Education, and staff who support our member Networks. The PSA continues to practice significant growth and has an ambitious work programme for the development of the union. As part of the leadership abilities group oversighting systems development and project work, the prosperous applicant will in addition have a key function in the delivery of projects through respective teams. this function is fulltime and preferably located in our Wellington office.
