I am currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Advisor, for a well-established public sector client. The prosperous candidate will be able to hit the ground running in a busy Payroll Team, working across BAU and high-level systems updates.
everyday tasks Include:
   » Accountable for monitoring volumes of work to ensure all pay related activities are completed in the required SLA
   » Provision of efficient and timely service, maintenance of a high standard of data integrity and resolution of complex queries
   » Assisting to identify payroll errors and completing corrective action where required
   » Maintenance of data expertise across legislation changes and departmental policies to ensure correct BAU processing
   » Identify continuous improvement opportunities to ensure that the SAP system performs to meet business needs
   » BAU processing of end to-end Payroll, to meet strict deadlines
Desired practice:
   » 5-10 years practice across BAU Payroll positions, or in another Senior Payroll Advisor position
   » Strong expertise of NZ Payroll legislation with practice applying this to pay-runs and queries
   » practice using SAP (desired) or another Payroll system to a high-level
   » Collaborative working style, with a good capability to work across teams all over a business to ensure timely and accurate processing
