STMS Professionals Wanted!Location All ManawatuManawatu Job type Temporary Salary to Category Trades and Services > Other » Immediate Starts Available! » Fulltime ongoing work » Full PPE Provided Responsibilities: As an STMS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of road users, pedestrians, and construction workers. Your responsibilities will include: » Developing traffic management plans and coordinating their implementation. » Conducting traffic assessments and providing expert advice on traffic management requirements. » Coordinating with stakeholders, including contractors, local authorities, and emergency services. » Monitoring and adjusting traffic control measures to ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications. » Managing and leading a team of traffic management staff to achieve project objectives. Requirements: » STMS Level 1 or Level 2 qualification (up-to-date STMS qualification preferred) and a minimum Class 1 full license. » Proven experience in traffic management, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role. » In-depth knowledge of New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) and Health and Safety regulations. » Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders. » Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in dynamic situations. » Must be able to pass a drug screen & need to complete a MOJ check.
