In this function you will work in partnership with the Clinical team to deliver the appropriate rehabilitation services We are seeking for someone who: Can inspire, lead and set the direction for our team as a proven leader. Is committed to build high performing teams through effective communication, coaching and development of the staff Has a clear knowledge of the financial and resource needs for the team Can Support assessment implementation and evaluation of support plansHas an unequivocal commitment to respecting the rights of people with an intellectual discapability Values diversity and inclusion with an appreciation for how we integrate kaupapa Maori into our everyday working life. You will bring significant leadership abilities and operational practice in social services or related setting like corrections. Sound foundation of positive behaviour support knowledge that enables you to assess and formulate intervention strategies. capability to build and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated capability to work within a changing environment, capability to bring forward ideas located around best practice initiatives. practice working positively with people who have an intellectual discapability and achieving results is desired, but will consider candidates within the social sector A significant tertiary qualification is desired. Full NZ Drivers Licence.
