About the function This is a full-time permanent function reporting to the Finance Manager – Strategic. The Principal Advisor Investment Management leads coordination of the Ministry’s Investor Confidence Rating (ICR) assessment recommend improvement plans, work with various business groups to ensure agreed improvements are on track and provide advice around best practices. The position will lead the development and alignment of existing good practice across the Ministry and through the introduction of new rules, templates and processes for ICR. The position will work closely with the Treasury and MoE leadership abilities teams on providing updates on various ICR related workstreams and information requirements. The position will work collaboratively with the Project and Investment Advice (PIA) team and other corporate groups to ensure the design, implementation and operation of the investment management framework is fit for purpose at all stages of the investment life cycle and across a range of investments and portfolios. About you To be prosperous in this function you will have a practical and positive attitude, a keen interest in process improvement and the capability to build effective relationships and credibility with customers at all levels across the Ministry, team members and colleagues in Finance.
