Our client is a small not-for-profit organisation who are located in a convenient Wellington CBD location. The organisation believes in good team culture and offer flexible working arrangements.

About the function
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be working alongside the adjunct Accountant and Senior Accountant in order to complete everyday financial and administrative tasks. The function is varied and offers a strong administrator to step up and gain financial expertise.

tasks
• Process invoices for approval by Finance Manager.
• Maintain movement of fixed assets within the finance system.
• Assist with reconciliations and discrepancies.
• Accounts Payable
• Answering phones & assisting customers
• Coordinating board rooms and meetings
• Facilitate with accommodation and travel bookings
• General administration tasks such as filing, office maintenance, stationary etc.

expertise & practice
• Previous practice in a similar accounting administration function
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, process focused
• Excellent planning and organizational expertise
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
• Honest, trustworthy with past practice handling confidential information
