This is an excellent opportunity for practiced Senior Analysts to join ACC's Reporting & Insights team to support the delivery of the Health Sector Strategy (HSS). Our HSS sets out an exciting vision to partner with our health sector and implement new ways of working, driving better results for New Zealanders. By focusing on evidence, and working in collaboration, we're driving innovation to improve lives for generations to come. We are currently looking for Reporting Analysts and Senior Reporting Analysts who will be supporting delivery of HSS in an agile delivery mode.
Reporting Analysts in the Reporting & Insights Team provide expert advice to our customers' key projects, and are responsible for capturing requirements, identifying areas for business improvement, sourcing the right data, conducting data analysis, and delivering insights, dashboards, reports and recommendations in a way that helps improve our operational performance and processes. As a member of the Analytics & Reporting team, you can expect to work in a supportive and highly collaborative environment where there is a genuine commitment to develop our capcapability and improve service delivery for our customers.
The prosperous candidates will require the following skills and practice:
   » Comfortable working with complex and diverse data with proven practice in data analysis, manipulation and presentation
   » A strong knowledge of data, databases and analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python
   » Good data visualisation and storytelling skills
   » practice in data preparation and management
   » An appreciation of data science
   » A demonstrated capability to think conceptually, and to translate new and emerging ideas into evidence-located insights and analysis
   » A good knowledge of statistics
   » Strong relationship management skills
   » (Seniors) capability to lead projects, guiding our analysts and working collaboratively with internal customers and other stakeholders to determine requirements, obtain data and information, develop methodologies and communicate results

What you’ll be doing:
   » Working in agile teams across multiple projects to support the delivery of ACC’s Health Sector Strategy
   » Work with large datasets, extracting, manipulating and analysing information, providing robust information to enable decision making within the business
   » Manage multiple work requests at any one time, self-manage your workload and manage expectations with stakeholders
   » (Senior) Provide thought leadership abilities both to customers and within the team
   » (Senior) Guide data analysts to identify the customer needs, assess different solutions and produce actionable insights
