Office Manager EAJob location:Auckland Auckland Central Work Type: Permanent » » » EA/OFFICE MANAGER (Remuera) - Administration/ EA mix - Interest in Education sector/charitable organisations? - Pivotal support function to CEO Our client • Our client is a highly prosperous education provider in the Epsom/Remuera area that prepares students as independent learners, equipping them for careers in the modern world • An environment that also values tradition, community and resilience • Set in a leafy suburb you will enjoy providing vital support to this terrific CEO! function overview • To ensure the effective, efficient, professional and safe operation of the Board Office • Provide outstanding gatekeeping, secretarial and administrative support to the CEO • Provide an effective interface for the Board Office and wider educational organisation Task breakdown: Trust Board Office Management Executive adjunct and Administrative Support to the CEO Investment Fund Applications Board Secretariat Support Student Safety/Health & Safety • In brief, managing the operations, being the professional and collaborative face for internal and external stakeholders • Monitoring and managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the office including providing administrative support, coordinating meeting and event / function logistics for the Board, Board Committees & Board Office • Onboarding new staff and Trustees (there is a separate HR Manager onsite) • Diary management, word processing, handling of communications and other administrative support to the CEO • Supporting the CEO and Senior leadership abilities Team in the organisation and management of Board and Committee meetings • Supporting a robust Health & Safety culture and practice You • Have an excellent work record demonstrating past considerable EA/PA Administration management practice • You may have an knowledge of charitable organisations and how they operate or practice/interest in an educational environment • Will have an analytical capcapability • Able to juggle priorities by being very organised and quality focused • Have a high level of professionalism and discretion, along with warmth and a sense of humour – high level of emotional intelligence/collaborative approach • Confident in using databases, MS Suite etc Offer: • Terrific working conditions, a warm and friendly team, interaction with passionate committed staff members and the pleasure of a lovely green campus environment • 8.30am to 5pm (occasional after hours work) • great insurance benefits • An increased Kiwisaver contribution at 4% • Own office • Free parking onsite • Free hot meals at lunch • significant work with considerable job satisfaction • great job security as effectively an ‘essential service’ • An excellent income also applies!
