As a nationwide manufacturing plant our client is seeking Hammer Hands/Truss Fabricators to join their team as soon as possible. No specific skills are required for this role as long as you have excellent listening skills and a willingness to learn you have the ability to get your foot in the door with a business where you can progress into many different positions. Your will learn to: » Operate saws to cut timber accurately to cutting lists » Build truss and frames to customer specific plans » Monitor and ensure performance targets are met » Equipment and Health & Safety reporting » Maintain an effective and tidy working area » Provide assistance to other work areas when own work is up to date » Ensure material used meets quality and industry standards Hours of work are Monday to Friday 6:00am to 3:30pm (2:30pm on a Friday). Extra hours available depending on the work load/orders.
