On behalf of BrownTrout Publishers Australia, Elastic Design produce a variety of New Zealand Art Calendars each year.

We're currently looking for artists who would like to be included in the following 2023 calendars:
   » Artists' Impressions of New Zealand
   » Contemporary New Zealand Art

What sort of 'art' is accepted?

Open to all New Zealand visual artists - both established and emerging.
   » Paintings and illustrations are accepted.
We don't accept: digital art, sculpture, ceramics, textile art or photography.

Is there a theme?

The theme is the same every year: New Zealand.
This can include landscapes, portraits, cityscapes, kiwiana - essentially anything relating to New Zealand.

What are the perks?

All prosperous artists are paid, with the final amount dependent on whether the artwork is selected for the cover.
prosperous artists also receive couple of samples of the printed calendar, and have access to the Publishers wholesale prices to buy bulk (to sell/gift to whanau and friends).

Where are they sold?

Calendars are sold online and all over New Zealand at the usual stationery outlets (Whitcoulls, Warehouse Stationery and Paper Plus, etc).
