The function For this position, my client is seeking someone who has 5+ years’ practice in reticulation and/or plumbing. In this position you will be working as a reticulation plumber by repairing broken mains, and sewer blockages while serving one rural and four urban communities. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the water supply reticulation, wastewater collection systems, footpaths, solid waste collection, and disposal, stormwater systems and coastal protection. In this function you will be working within the Operations Team assisting the day-to-day operations to ensure that the highest level of service is provided by high quality customer service and practice within the team. Our client is seeking someone who has the practice but also a personable, friendly personality who can handle difficult situations calmly with the customers. This will be a very important part of the function as you will be engaging with the public in some situations by working on their plumbing and organising valve/water shutdowns in communities. The work conducted will be around the Kapiti Coast district where you’ll be working within a team of 5, Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4pm.
