LabourerLocation DunedinOtago Job type Temporary Salary 25 to 25 Category Transport, Shipping, Logistics > Supply Chain » Competitive Hourly Wage + Paid Breaks » Lunch Provided » PPE Supplied You will be working on rotational shifts with one hour of work followed by a 30-minute paid break. Shifts can last 12 hours and are dependent on when vessels dock. Shifts can be offered with days' notice. Key Responsibilities: » Load boxes of fish onto crates in the freezer section of fishing vessels. » Move products weighing between 10 to 30 kilograms. » Have a keen awareness of Health & Safety responsibilities. » Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. » Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow. Qualifications: » Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy boxes and working in cold conditions. » Be available to work on short notice » Good teamwork and communication skills. » Previous experience in a similar role or in a marine environment is a plus but not required.
