Our facilities are second to none and our staff are world class. We are seeking for a full time maintenance team member to join our incredible team. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, energetic and friendly individual that will inject an amazing vibe to our team. In this maintenance position you will be responsible for the effective organization of day to day maintenance operations within the property. This is a very hands on function, and requires a diverse range of basic trade expertise Key tasks: » Working alongside the General Manager » Day to day maintenance of bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas » Planning and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules » Ensure the property upholds Health & Safety and fire safety responsibilities » Maintaining records as required » Maintaining high communication levels with all other departments » Carrying out project work as required » Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for the department and take corrective action as required What We are seeking for? » General maintenance expertise » A trade qualification preferred but not essential » Strong communication expertise » practice working autonomously in a maintenance position » Exceptional organisational expertise and proven capability to multi task » An knowledge of hostels » A can do attitude and a desire to succeed » An knowledge of NZ Health and Safety Ac Skills:
