We are a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the performance, creation and enjoyment of group singing for all.We are pursuing an practiced Development Manager to design, implement and manage a new revenue generation strategy located on growing membership, increasing grant revenue, engaging donors and securing commercial partnerships. The prosperous candidate will be an excellent communicator who can tell our stories in a compelling way, capturing the passion and professionalism at the heart of all we do. The Development Manager will take personal responsibility for enhancing connections between NZCF and its stakeholders and will bring their own expertise, practice and connections to the function. They will also lead the implementation of a new CRM system for the organisation. Our new Development Manager will work closely with the NZCF Chief Executive and other staff, and will be supported by external coaching with a professional fundraiser. Download a detailed job description expertise AND practice The ideal applicant will have expertise and practice in the following areas: » prosperous track record in fundraising and revenue generation » Excellent written and oral communication expertise, with marketing practice » Exceptional interpersonal expertise, with practice in stakeholder and relationship management » Excellent time management and attention to detail » practice in CRM and/or fundraising databases » Critical, strategic and creative thinking » A strong team player with the capability to work autonomously » A availability to contribute as a member of a small, dispersed team » practice in the arts sector and/or practice working with a member organisation This is a fixed term contract function (15 months), working from a home-located office (preferably in Wellington or Auckland), with a contract fee in the range of $80-85K pa.
