Logistics Coordinator

Reports To:

International Operations Manager

Objectives of the Position:

To provide support to the International Operations Manager to manage the international purchasing and logistics function.

Responsibilities:

Purchasing:

? Generate PO's for international suppliers and monitor status
? Coordinate and circulate container and LCL delivery plans
? Receipt incoming shipments into Exonet within 24 hrs of receipt into Warehouse
? Updating Shipment Manager
? Arrange packing of samples and preparation of documents for freight of samples

Finance:

? Establish LOC's (Letter of Credit) with bank for international suppliers
? Generate invoices for FOB orders
? Arrange payments of international creditors
? Generate Month End credit reports and credit notes, validating supplier statements and process payments
? Preparation of Month End transaction detail payment report

Competencies:

? Fluent in Mandarin (Not essential but an advantage)
? Minimum 2 years logistics experience
? Computer literate in both PC & Business Systems Applications
? Excellent communication, organisational and documentation skills
