We focus on a unique, international and authentic backpacker practice resulting in service that is as personalized as possible offering the guests a feeling of being home while actually being thousands of miles away from it. About the function This permanent full-time function is for 37.5 hours per week from Monday to Friday from around 09:00 am to 05:00 pm and is paid at $21.33 per hour. The position is available from 03/01/2022 or earlier if agreed to. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be but are not limited to the following physically active tasks: » Brooming and moping floors » Cleaning the Bathrooms and toilets » Refilling cleaning products in the carts » Refilling toilet paper, paper towels and soap in all the toilets and bathrooms » Collection of the linen from private rooms » Making beds and vacuuming floors in private rooms » Collection of rubbish from all the floors and changing bin liners » Cleaning the kitchen and dining area Benefits and perks » 4 weeks paid annual leave » 10 paid sick days per annum » Free usage of our laundry facilities » Single Private Room at $100/week, if you choose to live on-site » Prospect of becoming a housekeeping manager or department head expertise, practice and requirements » Full training for candidates without any practice will be provided, however previous work practice is highly beneficial » You must be able to communicate in the English language at a reasonable level verbally & written to understand written and oral work instructions and to provide feedback » You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand to take on this position Expected Start Date: 3/01/2022 Job Types: Full-time, Permanent income: $21.33 per hour COVID-19 considerations: We follow all public health advice and recommendations issued by the New Zealand Ministry of Health.
