The function will also include portfolio reporting, unit price calculations and maintaining strong client relationships when needed. This position will sit in a tight-knit team and help the Fund Accounting Manager to make higher level decision making. The function will be well suited to an individual with a strong technical financial accounting or audit background that is looking to make the transition into financial services. The function will be suited to someone who has strong attention to detail and has an interest in funds management and financial services. Responsibilities » Ensure timely and accurate financial and portfolio reporting to clients as required » Preparing periodic management financial statements including reviewing and supporting outputs » Preparing share and unit price calculations in line with market practice » Liasing with external auditors as required » Maintaining client relationships and responding to client queries Requirements » Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a business related field. » Completed a CA Qualification or Equivalent » Minimum of two years post qualification accounting practice » Financial services background or good expertise of financial markets This is a great opportunity to develop your career and work alongside some practiced professionals to gain exposure across different aspects of the organisation, whilst being compensateed with a supportive team and workplace environment in Central Auckland.
