We are working on behalf of a leading Dairy Factory located in South Waikato committed to excellence in every aspect of our operations. They prioritize quality, efficiency, and compliance, striving to exceed expectations while maintaining the highest standards in safety and sustainability.
   » The position is based at the Mokai factory, 30km northwest of Taupo.
   » Shift pattern (2 days on, 2 nights on, and 4 days off).
   » Hours of work are 6.00am - 6.00pm.
   » You will be required to operate a forklift and will be supported with certified forklift training.

Role Overview: As the Powder Shift Supervisor, you'll oversee and optimize our powder production operations, from milk intake to final product palletization. Your focus will be on driving process improvements, cost control, and regulatory compliance while leading a team to achieve production targets.

Experience:
   »Minimum 4 years' experience in supervising milk powder production teams.
   »Relevant technical, dairy, or science tertiary qualification.
   » Detailed knowledge of OSH, quality control, and performance improvement.
   » Proven track record in operational management, regulatory compliance, and relationship building.
   » Experience working with M?ori Trusts, Incorporations, or Organizations preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
   »4 years Operational Excellence: Manage powder production operations to maximize quality, productivity, and waste reduction targets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
   »Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance plant processes, efficiency, and performance in collaboration with engineering teams.
   »Cost Control: Monitor and control labour and raw materials budgets, implementing measures to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
   »Quality Assurance: Ensure product meets required specifications and comply with quality standards and HACCP protocols.
   »Health, Safety & Environment: Develop and implement strategies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment, managing risk and compliance with OSH regulations.
   »Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including M?ori shareholders, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
   »Personnel Management: Provide effective leadership to production staff, including training, development, and performance management.
