Our clients aim is to add value to the business of farming for our members and encouraging sustaincapability through good management practice. They look after their staff with endlesssick leave, additional gifted days of leave each year so you will always have your birthday, Christmas and New Years off work. Remote working is available and they have a structure 37.5 hour work week. What more could you ask for! The function this function is a permanent, full time function with a income ranging from $80k - $110k. I am seeking someone who can undertake research, provide legal and policy advice, draft submissions and appear in court hearings and Environmental Court appeals. this function requires expertise of the Resource Management Act and provision of legal research and advice to the organisation. About you You will need to be a team player and great at working autonomously. This is a varied team with a great environment and an office in Wellington (and other locations) if working in the house isn’t for you. You will need to be able to coordinate and collaborate with a range of disciplines to develop a theory of a case, prepare evidence and conduct and effective and efficient council or court hearing. If you have expertise of the public policy process and case law along with a general expertise of the rural sector this could be for you!
