This company works with the New Zealand Sign Language interpreters, booking them into a variety of appointments, some can be last minute! The appointments range from doctors, businesses, employment to working with the PM’s office, the DDG of Health and the Minister’s offices. You will be supporting your small team you are working with to ensure all of the bookings run smoothly. A fast paced function with no two days the same! About the function: This company work with over 100 interpreters so being able to manage multiple tasks at one time is very important. You will be making a real difference within the deaf community, you will juggle and prioritize tasks with the end goal of ensuring each booking is on time. this function is managing a talented team of up to 10 who have a strong passion for what they do. You will also be managing the new graduates and supporting their journey of being interpreters. You will ideally have an knowledge about the deaf community or know sign language. Exposure through work/family members or personal practice will be beneficial. Systems are all user friendly with training in place, but practice in with other scheduling systems will be beneficial. About you: - Previous practice leading a team - Excellent communication and organisational stills - Excellent attention to detail and strong administration expertise - Knowledge of the deaf community or sign language - practice with coordinating/scheduling - practice in the not-for-profit/community sector (good to have but not essential) - practice in using a variety of Information technology systems and applications (Microsoft Office) - Commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi & Pacific principles Who: Our client is very proud to be the premium nationwide provider.
