Offer: Technical Manager:ACC_hainesJob description:Job Description»Are you an practiced leader passionate about coaching your people for success?»Lower Hutt – permanent, full-time »Flexible work in the house up to two days a week ACC is seeking a new Technical Manager With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. As a Technical Manager, you will lead one of ACC’s teams of Technical Specialists to provide effective support to frontline decision-makers and internal stakeholders. The teams are focused on ensuring consistent andcorrect decisions are made by ACC and providing quality guidance that’s timely, easy to understand, valuable and consistent for our people. We are seeking for a confident communicator, who will bring energy and enthusiasm to the function. Your positive and pragmatic approach to leadership abilities will support the continuous improvement and development of the team and its relationships across the business. From time to time you will be called upon to offer support to high profile or complex cases and this is where your coaching and strategic problem-solving expertise will be put to good use. You will become an important member of the Technical Services leadership abilities team and will support the delivery of key projects. You will also collaborate across several services including Client Recovery, Clinical Services and Resolution Services, so excellent interpersonal expertise are a must. Crucially, you will have the following: » practice leading a specialist function, preferably in a large complex environment » A passion for coaching for performance and development » Proven capability to generate a continuous improvement culture » capability to vary working and leadership abilities style » Strong business judgement and decision-making capabilities » Collaborative working style and the capability to lead with integrity and authenticity And, you will be: » a proven people leader who drives a culture of performance and responsibility » a great relationship manager and communicator » a critical thinker with the capability to quickly grasp topics and concepts. The function is competitively remunerated – the midpoint of the income band is $130k plus a further 9% superannuation.
