About The Role: The financial accountant/analyst will serve as a key financial intermediary, providing in-depth analysis, accurate reporting, and strong support across multiple disciplines. Your work will be crucial in supplying precise and timely financial insights that support strategic planning and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: » Develop, update, and refine financial models to support business decision-making » Perform detailed financial analysis, P&L review, and generate meaningful reports » Offer insights for forecasts, identifying potential opportunities, risks, and strategic benefits » Manage the general ledger, including processing journal entries and reconciling accounts » Review, analyze, and report on payroll, ensuring precision and compliance » Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to enhance forecasting and budgeting processes » Provide support for various finance functions, including fixed asset management and accounts payable processing What You'll Need: » Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field » 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in horticulture or a related industry » High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query » Strong attention to detail and advanced analytical skills » Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities » Passion for solving complex financial challenges and deriving actionable insights » Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial colleagues » Eagerness to continue learning and grow within a dynamic industry » Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes What You'll Get: » Flexibile working with the possibility to work from home 1 day a week » Progression opportunities to grow and develop within the team and business over time » Fun and supportive team where they will value you, your experience, and ideas.
