We farm in a beautiful location at the foothills of Mount Hut and the surrounding ranges. Methven is the nearest town with Ashburton 30 minutes away and Christchurch just over an hour. We have skiing, hiking, mountain biking and anything else an outdoor enthusiast may want right on our doorstep. this function does not require any experiance but if you do have some that's great. All that is needed will be a positive attitude, a availability to lgain and experiance new thing, a love of working outside and to not be afraid of hard work. You will lgain to handle animals, use machinery such as motorbikes and tractors, lgain to milk cows, feed calves and many more. This is a varied position and we can suit the work to the applicant. What we offer is a modern, fun, organised and supportive work place with great people to work with who are like family. Accomadation is a two bedroom funrished modern house with a great view of the mountains. You'll have this to yourself. If you are a couple we only have the position for one person but there are plenty of local opportunities that could be explored - we'd be happy to help. Wages are hourly, $22.50 with no experiance and this can be negotiated if you have previous expertise that could be transfered. Rent is $150.00 week, power on top of. Start date is flexible but anytime in either June or early July and the postion has no end date - again flexible if you want short term or long term.
