   » Midpoint of band: $88,361 (appointments can be made above or below midpoint depending on expertise and practice of the prosperous candidate)
We are seeking for a capable and energetic People Capcapability Advisor to join Te Puna Kaupapahere – Policy group.
About Te Puna Kaupapahere
Our group is responsible for whole-of-system, end-to-end policy integration covering early learning, compulsory schooling, and tertiary including M?ori medium, te reo M?ori, Pacific and Learning Support.
You’ll join our policy community in Te Puna Kaupapahere – a group with a strong policy culture that works on issues affecting a huge system that directly impacts the lives of all New Zealanders across early learning, schooling and tertiary.
About the function
This is a great opportunity to harness your potential, and work on a broad range of initiatives to develop capcapability in Te Puna Kaupapahere. The Policy Capcapability Programme works across Te Puna Kaupapahere to raise capcapability and ensure we are one of the very best policy shops.
In this function you’ll have the opportunity to:
   » provide advice and support for the Policy Graduate programme, including taking the lead on campaigns and university engagement, and delivering preboarding and onboarding for our graduates and interns
   » design and deliver programmes of learning and development to support our graduates’ continual growth and development during the programme
   » develop connections across Te Puna Kaupapahere to support and enable the growth of high-performing policy teams
   » support internally run promotion and rotation processes
   » develop a range of expertise including programme management, implementation practice, and a expertise of HR functions
   » personally have an impact across Te Puna Kaupapahere.
About you
Ideally you will have a tertiary level qualification or equivalent, in either Human Resources or a discipline significant to policy work or; significant work practice in programme management, learning and development, human resources or policy analysis.
You will need to be a self-starter, flexible, and adaptable and have a collaborative approach to making things happen.
This is a fixed-term function for parental leave cover, from October 2022 to November 2023. We are open to secondment arrangements.
