Dunstan Hills orchard is an Essential Service industry and will be operating during lockdowns. We are located in Alexandra, Central Otago where we grow and pack Cherries, Apricots, Nectarines and Peaches for export and domestic sales. We have orchard and packhouse work opportunities for the 2021/22 harvest season as outlined below. Cherries and Apricot Pickers/Packhouse Work - LATE DECEMBER TO END JANUARY Harvest season for Cherries, Apricots, Nectarines and Peaches. We pick and pack for export and domestic market, and require up to 130 pickers in January, and 50 workers for the packhouse. During the peak of harvest, you may be required to work 7 days a week.
