We are seeking for a design rock star. Someone that is confident in their expertise and has the world practice to take on creative opportunities with a purpose driven mindset with a cheeky yet friendly smile. Storybox is a wh?nau of like-minded creatives that believe in telling stories that count across multiple mediums - so having a diverse creative background is essential. Above all you will need to have a strong sense of creating design vision to lead projects and inspire. Main tasks and responsibilities » Meeting with clients to establish visual tone and style for a project, and present work back to them » Developing concepts and determining how best to represent them visually » Preparing pitch documents with clear visual direction in the form of mood boards, mockups and storyboards » supervise other designers and artists » Develop the overall look and feel of a project » Review, feedback and approve designs and artworks from other creatives » As a Senior Designer, you will also be expected to develop and execute visual concepts » Setup design guidelines Reporting lines » Reports to the Creative Director, project Producer, and Operations Manager Management lines / Delegation authority » Manages designers / animators, other creatives and artists. Qualification / practice requirements » Design qualification and or comparable qualification » 8-10+ years of design industry / agency practice » Highly competent in Adobe Creative Suite » Multidisciplinary creative background » knowledge of moving image and video production and post production processes Personal expertise, knowledge and attributions required for the job » Great communicator » Purpose driven » Excellent time management » Knowledge of industry standards » Friendly and approachable » Good under pressure » High attention to detail » Good mentor Performance measures for the job » Achieving the creative goals and aspirations of each project » Meeting the quality expectations of the creative director, project producer and client? » Working within the time and budget allocation for the project Hours of work Monday to Friday, 40 hours Flexible work hours and work in the house options Type of employment Full time employee with 3 month trial period.
