Here is an opportunity to join a well-known professional company who are specialist market leaders for Trailer and Truck body manufacturer. The role involves effectively managing all aspects of the Auckland Branch Manufacturing end to end, increase Production Output and to ensure Quality Control Policies and Procedures are enforced as per company policies. You will also assist to manage the Health and Safety of the branch. The successful applicant will ideally come from the heavy machinery industry or similar environment to be able to handle this busy team. You will manage scheduling and delivery times for vehicles, workshop labour for productivity and efficiencies, compliance and have a general knowledge of the service accounting needs of a busy service workshop environment. You will also be a strong team player to be an integral link between Production, Service and Other Divisions. You must have: » Excellent communication skills » A background in automotive / engineering / mechanical leadership role as a senior technician in a heavy transport manufacturing/engineering maintenance role » A commitment to meeting the needs of customers » Good rapport with people » Proficient Computer Skills » Strong planning and problem solving skills » Experience in job costing and managing labour and materials within budgets » A strong health and safety focus Quality control is a significant part of the role so an eye for detail and an uncompromising health and safety standards are essential.
