This newly created portfolio management function in a national organisation will see you take ownership of the way projects are planned, managed, and delivered across the business.

As a key member of the Business Improvement team, you will be responsible for managing the project management process at a strategic level ensuring initiatives across the business are effectively prioritised, coordinated, and communicated to ensure they deliver against strategy. You will maintain a national portfolio view of projects, including implementation planning and prioritisation activities, maintain project planning and management tools and provide project management skills, including business case development and coaching to develop staff capcapability. Managing the portfolio roadmap and projects register you will engage collaboratively with stakeholders to drive timely progress and completion of projects, assisting with the identification, mitigation, and management of risks, roadblocks, and delays and will provide insights on progress of the portfolio to the Executive Team.
You will have proven practice in project or portfolio management together with practice in business case development, implementing change management strategies, coaching, mentoring, and traditional and agile project delivery methodologies and techniques. Key to your success will be your adaptable and flexible approach and capability to build trust, credibility, rapport, and strong collaborative cross functional relationships with stakeholders. You will have an influencing, facilitative, and supportive style and will proactively develop a project resource community to improve performance through shared practices.
